We had a great time with our families for Christmas. We just wish we could have also seen some of our friends too.

First Pictures for Rook

We finally broke down and took Rook to get his picture taken. We decided to do Christmas cards while we were there. He was good for the most part.

Happy Thanksgiving

We enjoyed a stressfree Thanksgiving with our second cousins. You can see Mom's cousin Helen and Dwain's head is in the opposite corner. Whitney and Joe show off their favorite food and Rook was a sweet potato pie!

I've been trying to figure out the whole video thing so hopefully this will work. Rook makes friends wherever he goes and he loves it when someone else is on the playground too.

Fun in Seattle

Rook and I spent about 10 days in Seattle watching Tamsyn and Eric's kids so they could go to Spain. Rook and Miles had a fun time playing and everyone loved Rand's new hat from the Soccer team there.

Happy Halloween

Rook's first Halloween was super fun and all about walking around and "seeing" everything.

He was a Kung Fu Fighter with a ponytail. Give me some more candy!

First Birthday Party

Rook had a fun little party for his birthday, though he didn't really like cake. We were so grateful to have some family in town to celebrate with. I don't think he liked his cake.

We are Bloggers

Well we did it. Hopefully this will make it easier to share pictures and videos of the crankasaurus Rook.

Rook turned 1 on October 10. We didn't do anything for him, but will have a little party on the 20th when Joe's family is in town. He did get 4 birthday shots and wailed like a big boy, but recovered quickly.

We're loving Las Vegas and enjoying moderate weather. We love our house. Here are some pictures.
